Aamir to get Smart Cash from IDIOT

Aamir Khan has worked out a deal with Vidhu Vinod Chopra which spells that Aamir will get 40 per cent of the total profit in Vidhu’s upcoming film ‘Idiot’, besides a Rs 5 Crore fee.

On Aamir’s deal with Vidhu, an insider informed us, “Aamir took his time in agreeing to the project. He will charge Rs 5 crore as his fee, plus 40 per cent of the film’s total profit. Vishu has agreed to Aamir’s terms” further says “Aamir has had a stable career graph for years and has churned out hits consistently. Most all his films fare very well at the box-office. After Taare Zameen Par, it is clear that he understands cinema. So, he deserves it.”

Vidhu Vinod ChopraAamir has liked the story of Idiot and the sources adds, “The film takes a dig at our education system. It revolves around a group of students who are considered idiots on the campus. But they go on to achieve something big, surprising everyone. Aamir always likes new and off-beat ideas. The script of Idiot is almost ready but Aamir has told Vidhu that the script should be ready in all respects. Aamir will start on Idiot as soon as Ghajini is over.”

Idiot is based on Chetan Bhagat’s book Five Point Someone, will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani (of Munnabhai fame) starring Kareena Kapoor.

Rajkumar HiraniInterestingly, Aamir and Kareena were not the first choice for the leads. Earlier, Rajkumar had approached Shah Rukh Khan for the lead role. In fact, he had offered him both the Munnabhai films as well but it did not work out. Shah Rukh liked Hirani’s new script and was trying to work his dates before things went wrong. According to grapevine, Shah Rukh was upset and opted out of Idiot because Vidhu shot him a nasty letter accusing him of trying to ’steal his director’ (Rajkumar Hirani) for his own production house (Red Chillies Entertainment).

As for Kareena’s role, Rajkumar had first spoken to Kajol. In an interview Kajol said, “I didn’t think that I was right choice for the role in Idiot. I love Hirani as a director and have told him to come up with another role for me.”

Did Vidya lost her Balance ?

A high spirited Vidya Balan who normally is known to be a teetotaler among her friends, surprised everybody at a recent award function by dancing on chair after downing a few glasses of alcohol.

It was definitely a sight to watch and the guests present at the party were quiet aback to see the usual sober Vidya shedding her inhibitions and gyrating to popular Bollywood numbers, glass in hand. It looks like Vidya went a little overboard with her attempt to get intothe party spirit.

An eyewitness from the party says, “Everyone was quiet amused by Vidya’s enthusiastic dance atop the chair. It was evident that she was quiet high.” “People from the industry present said that she doesn’t usually consume alcohol. So, obviously she could not hold her drink and lost control”

The party which was held in London after an award function, was attended by a number of Bollywood celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The source says “SRK, Karan Johar, Saif & Bebo were all present at the party. They bonded big time and danced through the night.”

It’s a Googly for Emraan

Emraan Hashmi, who plays a Cricket Bookie in Jannat, was embarrassed when his lack of knowledge about the game was discovered during a friendly match, Emraan couldn’t stop boasting that he knew a lot about cricket. However a recent match demonstrated that he actually knew very little about the game.

The cast and crew of Jannat got to know about Emraan’s lack of knowledge during a friendly match in Cape Town, South Africa. The moment they started playing the match, they realised Emraan had no clue about basic cricketing terms let alone the rules. When the Director Kunal Deshmukh questioned him he was embarrassed and admitted that he knew nothing about the game Cricket.

Madhuri Dixit to be honored with The Padma Shri Award

Madhuri Dixit the real Dhak Dhak girl of Bollywood is in India again but this time it is not for a film shoot or a party but it is for receiving Padma Shri Award which she will be getting on May 10th for her contribution to Indian Cinema.

Madhuri is excited to receive this award and while talking to media she said that she thought Padma Shri award is pnly for scientists and she had never thought that she could one day be honored with this prestigious award.

Madhuri is in town with her hubby Dr.Shriram.Nene. and is all set to receive the award on May 10th and another moment of happiness is not far as her Birthday is also on May 15th she will turn 41 :P , and her family has great plans to celebrate it in a grand way. Madhuri had made a comeback with her movie ‘Aaja Nachle’ in 2007 but the movie was a miserable experience on the box office, Barjatya’s are looking for a sequel of Hum Aap ke Hai Kaun in which Madhuri and Salman Khan will be shown 15 years older. Madhuri is considering this offer and her fans are desperately waiting to see her on screen again.

No Takers for Woodstock Villa

Sikander Kher’s debut film, Woodstock Villa has no takers. According to our source, Sanjay Dutt has refused to be associated with the film, produced by Sanjay Gupta. And since then, very few people are ready to take on its distribution.

The film distributor Balaji Telefilms has opted out. Now Gupta has no choice but to distribute the film under his own banner. Ramesh Sippy of Balaji Telefilms says “We had bought the distribution rights ofWoodstock Villa from White Feather Films. But then we decided not to release the film. However I would not like to get into the details why we opted out of the deal with Gupta.”

According to a film trade source, “Gupta has already announced that the film will be releasing on May 23 2008 but there is not a single distributor coming forward to buy the film.” When we asked Dutt about it, he said that he has nothing to do with White Feather Films anyway. Gupta, meanwhile, keeps up a brave front, and says, “No one has backed out of the deal. It was a mutual decision. I have decided to distribute Woodstock Villa as White Feather Films has also started its own distribution division.”

Priyanka makes her movie Fashion wait for her

Priyanka Chopra’s movie ‘Fashion’ which is in talks from long time has been delayed again due to Priyanka. Madhur Bhandarkar the Director of ‘Fashion’ who is well known for his fast track shootings is irritated by this that his movie is taking so much of time. This is the first time that Madhur is working with a top league actress who plays the lead in his movie and It is not a surprise that Priyanka Chopra has her hands full first she shot for Fashion for Madhur then flew off to South Africa to shoot for ‘Drona’ opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka then got back to shoot for ‘Fashion’ but she has already committed dates to Karan Johar for ‘Dostana’ & she had to leave for an outdoor shoot & will be back only in mid of May. Once Priyanka is back here she is planning to shoot for ‘Fashion’ again in Mumbai and then in Chandigarh.

Priyanka’s busy schedule is hardly pushing Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’ and obviously he is upset, initially he was planning to release the movie in July 2008 but it is now postponed to August 2008. The Director also shared that he will think twice and thrice before signing any top star like Priyanka in future as it is hard to deal with their ‘TASHAN‘ and ‘FASHION‘.

Suzzane Khan delivers a Baby Boy, though Hrithik expected a baby girl

Superstar Hrithik Roshan had rescheduled all his shoots for atleast 3 weeks as he wanted to be besides his wife Suzzane during the delivery of their second child, the first one is also a son ‘Hrehaan’.

On 1st May Suzzane Roshan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital at Bandra Mumbai and as expected Hrithik was beside her taking care as she delivered their second baby. Though the star was hoping a baby girl, Hrithik was so excited to see the new born boy that he did not took his eyes off the baby who looked like a perfect angel.

Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan who is in Los Angeles is missing all the action from the baby angel, Hrithik had arranged for a complete photo session with his entire family which ofcourse included the new born kid and immediately emailed the pictures to his dad Rakesh to ensure that he doesn’t miss any of the special moments.

Hrithik, Suzzane and Hrehaan are all filled with joy to welcome this new bundle of joy to the Roshan-Khan family.

Katrina Kaif to play controversial role on Scarlet

Katrina Kaif is expected to play Scarlet Keeling who was a 15 year old British girl and who was brutually raped and murdered in India. Katrina is being offered almost 1 crore for this movie by Prabhakar Shukla. Prabhakar Shukla made his mark on Bollywood with the movie ‘Gudiya’.
Within a couple of days Katrina will be disclosing her decision on the movie, but Shukla is sure that Katrina will not reject her offer. He feels that as Katrina is a British girl so she will suit the character very well, “The film will be titled ‘Rave Party’ will follow classic Bolywood formula with comic characters, sexy girls and a troupe of dancers performing kitsch routines” said Prabhakar Shukla director of the film. Shukla said he wanted to show the seedier side of India’s beach paradise. Scarlett was found dead on Goa’s popular Anjuna beach on February 18 and police have arrested two locals who allegedly drugged, raped and left her to die on the beach.
According to Prabhakar Shukla this film will have a 15 minute rape scene which will be filmed in a polished manner. Katrina has to show her nude back in this scene and may also have to film for this shot semi nude.
Shukla is also thinking to rope in a bollywood film star for the role of a rapist and Vivek Oberoi is being considered for the role.

This scene was chopped by the sensor board, But for a surprise after 15 years this censored scene again being circulated Many thanks to internet and the net savvy girls are demanding this video at any cost even paying some hefty amount of money to some sites to get this. This video is also said to be full of love making scenes between the super star SRK and Deepa which doesn’t gives the viewers any space to imagine.

The video clipping is also said to be showing SRK’s Butts and Deepa’s fair bosom and it is a fact that this scene was shot in front of her husband in real-life and the director of this movie. When Deepa was contacted she said she is not aware of the video on internet and is not surprised saying if there is any such scene in the film then obviously it will be in internet and she also says this video’s might have been ripped from original movie DVD’s when asked was she contacted by SRK to this issue ? she said she did not get a call from him yet, While Shah Rukh was unavailable for comment.

Emraan Hashmi & Sonal Chauhan starrer Jannat releasing May 16th

The most awaited movie ‘Jannat’ starring Emraan Hashmi and debutant Sonal Chauhan has finally announced it’s official release date on May 16th, It’s music is making rounds all the streets, hotels, disco’s, parties and everywhere and is a super hit as it always does in Emraan’s movies.

It is wellknown that Emraan’s character is based on a cricket bookie who wants to make fast money until he gets caught in a match fixing offense. The movie “Jannat” is also said to be inspired by coach Bob Woolmer murder case in 2007 that got on nerves of the entire cricket world.

Aamir Khan refuses to join IIFA despite advice of Amitabh Bachchan

It seems just true love and appreciation from fans is the biggest award Aamir Khan can receive, who just refuses to be a part of any award functions of Bollywood fame. Though Filmfare, Screen Awards and many others have honored Aamir with many awards previously despite him not attending any of the award functions.

IIFA is really a big platform for any film related persons to get recognition for their work, Unfortunately ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is not a part of any nomination in the IIFA awards this time as the actor who is also the producer for themovie has failed to fill mandatory application for his work to be qualified for IIFA. Big B aka Mr.Amitabh Bachchan who is also the brand ambassador for IIFA also suggested and adviced to fill the mandatory form of IIFA to get nominated for awards but Aamir simply refused saying that participating in awards is against his principles…

Aamir is really very professional and principled person and when it comes to work he just needs it perfect though We think Aamir’s fan will be disappointed as Aamir or Darsheel Safary will be missing in the nominations and ofcourse will not get any awards at the prestigious award function for their genuine professional work ‘Taare Zameen Par’.

Abhishek Aishwarya to hang out in Florida on their Anniversary

Aishwarya Rai is hanging out with hubby Abhishek Bachchan in Miami who is shooting for “Dostana” for Karan Johar. The couple are reported to make use of all the breaks in the shoots to take a walk on the Golden Beach of Miami and adjust with the Personal Time.
